Purpose

UK Shared Prosperity Fund
The Council has signed a Memorandum of Understanding that sets out
terms that will apply to the relationship between the Secretary of
State of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities
regarding the administration and delivery of the UK Shared
Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
The Council has been awarded £1m to spend over three years
(2022-2025). The aim of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund is:

People and Skills
£20,500 from Guildford's UKSPF has been allocated to
supporting the visitor economy. Visit Surrey will be delivering
activities to include working to raise awareness of the Borough's
visitor economy, promoting linkages between the town centre and
rural areas and promoting and supporting local businesses and
attractions until 31 March 2025.
