To vary the existing appointment of Building
Design Partnership (BDP) to provide additional architectural
services in respect of the Guildford Park project to assist the
Council in developing the technical information pack prior to the
launch of the partner selection process. In accordance with the fee
proposal issued, to the value of £29,245.

Reasons for the decision

The Council needs to issue a technical pack to
all potential suppliers as part of the tender exercise to secure a
Development Partner. As Lead Designer on the scheme to date, and
having been responsible for developing the current proposals it is
proposed to retain BDP to deliver this work.
