To enter into a contract with "Inovem" to
provide a planning policy consultation system for a further three
years.

Reasons for the decision

Inovem currently provide the planning policy
consultation system. Officers have reviewed the available options
on the marketplace. Continuing to use Inovem is considered the best
value as it’s price is competitive and it meets all the
required criteria.

Alternative options considered

Officers considered whether to switch to
Inovem's main competitor, which also meets the required criteria at
the same price point. Given the similarity of the two systems, this
option is rejected because it would create costs and resource
impacts when switching to the new system.
