period.

residents previously when lessons were funded through Activate
Learning.

Reasons for the decision

The contract is awarded to Yuliia Kohut, who
has worked with residents previously when lessons were funded
through Activate Learning. Yuliia is familiar with the families and
individuals that require support through her work with them
previously.

Alternative options considered

It was considered to no longer provide these
lessons as funding from Activate Learning had come to an end.
However, this has been an essential part of assisting refugee
families integrate into the local community and therefore it was
assessed that continuing these lessons would still be of
benefit.
This service will be reviewed further in March 2026 when further
details are released about the Home Office Grant Funding.
