Decision
GBC was successful in winning grant funding via Surrey Hills FiPL bid to undertake the purchase of specialist monitoring and testing equipment on the internationally important population of ancient and veteran yews on Merrow Downs. We will enter a contract with Soilmania to undertake these works worth £10,065.32 and will recover the majority of the costs from the grant.
Reasons for the decision
To implement works that will help secure the future of internationally important trees under GBC's care.
