Reasons for the decision

To support the community, Council and partners
in addressing flooding matters at Sopwith Close/ Wellington Place,
Ash.

Alternative options considered

The Council could decide not appoint National
Flood Forum. However, they are embedded in the project and have
worked to build good rapport with the residents and Flood
Authorities involved in the scheme.
