Purpose

To consider and approve the:
Final annual accounts; and
Performance reporting as against Business Plan; and
Annual Business Plan for following year

Content

Decision:

1.                    
Note that the 2024/25 draft accounts are not yet
available and therefore cannot be approved by the Board of
Directors.

2.                   
Note that the filing date for the next company
accounts is 29 March 2026.

3.                    
Delegate authority to the Joint Strategic Director
of Housing, Communities and Environment, in consultation with the
Leader, to review and offer comments as shareholder on the 2024/25
accounts if they are prepared before the next ESTC meeting, with a
report to then follow to the next ESTC meeting with an update on
the position.

4.                    
Note that the NDH Business Plan is to be prepared
and will be presented in draft for approval by ESTC in due
course.
 
Reason(s):
The Council continues to
maintain an oversight of North Downs Housing Limited as shareholder
through its holding company, Guildford Borough Holdings Limited. It
is a requirement of Companies House that the company’s
accounts are filed with them within 9 months of the close of the
company’s financial year.
