To issue a contract to Countryside Contracts
Ltd to install palisade fencing and access gate around the lido
road allotment site.

Reasons for the decision

The Council continues to provide adequate
statutory allotment space and continues long term infrastructure
replacements.
To ensure the Lido Allotments continue to provide a secure
allotment space to Guildford residents.

Alternative options considered

Leaving the Allotment site unfenced where
fences are missing have deteriorated does not provide adequate
secure allotment space.
