Recommendation to Award (RTA) including
details of procurement and evaluation of costs have been
approved.
Contracts have been issued and signed and awaiting sealing pending
notice of this Officer Decision.

Reasons for the decision

The direct award of this contract is in
accordance with the Council’s CPR (16) and the permitted
processes and terms and conditions of the framework
agreement.
A direct award enables the Council's requirements to commence
expediently, within the agreed scope and proposal of a suitably
qualified and experienced surveying consultancy.

Alternative options considered

In view of the low value, low risk, and short
duration of the required independent consultancy a direct award of
contract, from a compliantly tendered framework, to expediently
engage a suitably qualified building surveying consultancy was the
preferred and approved procurement route.
