Approval to award including an updated waiver
and contract have been approved by the Procurement and Legal
teams.
Contracts have been issued and signed and awaiting sealing pending
notice of this Officer Decision.

Reasons for the decision

The award of this contract is in accordance
with the Council’s Contracts Procedure Rules (16) and the
permitted processes. The requirement of this contract is the
provision of contract management services to the Council including
statutory requirements, programming, on-site monitoring and
delivery, contract variations, certifications, partial and
practical completion, and final certification documentation.

Alternative options considered

In view of potential statutory and health and
fire safety implications the award of contract to a suitably
qualified, experienced, and competent consultancy was the preferred
and approved management option.
