Decision

To enter in to a mini S278 agreement with Surrey County Council for the creation of a Non Motorised User (NMU) route.
Upgrade of the Public right of way at Farm Close, Guildford to become a shared footway/cycleway and flaring of the connection to Waterside Road for ease of access. This includes widening of the existing footway, conversion of the existing paved footway into an asphalt based shared use corridor, installation of a new low retaining wall and fencing to suit the widened route adjusting the dropped kerbs in front of No. 38.

Reasons for the decision

To allow the S278 to be signed and enable the Farm Close NMU works to progress, as part of the Weyside Urban Village programme.
