Purchase of storage racking in the new Weyside Depot for the Museum object stores. The procurement was subject to tender process. Rackline will be the supplier.

Reasons for the decision

To fit out the Museum stores in the Weyside Depot with racking to ensure objects are stored safely and securely.

Alternative options considered

Racking from current stores was not fit for transfer to new stores, new racking was required.
