To extend the current contract with hootsuite for 12 months to allow the council to continue to manage communications via social media and related platforms.

Reasons for the decision

The councils contract expires in October. A 12 month extension is the most logical option to allow the council to still operate and communicate with residents via social media now and as we move into LGR.
