The Planning Committee, made up of 15 councillors, is responsible for making decisions on planning and development applications across Gwynedd. This quasi-judicial role means they act impartially when considering applications, with the exception of those within Snowdonia National Park, which are handled by the Snowdonia National Park Authority. Members of the public have the right to speak at these meetings.
