RESOLVED:
 
Hackney Procurement Board:
 
Agree the procurement of an Adult Skilled Open
Framework agreement for a period of four (4) years (with the option
of two (2) separate twelve (12) month extensions thereafter, up to
a maximum contract length of six (6) years) to deliver adult skills
courses to Hackney residents.
 
RELATED DECISIONS
 
The Adult Learning service was inspected by
Ofsted in 2024 and offered good value for money (externally
delivered training programmes were part of this inspection).

GLA have recently published their London
Growth Plan and Inclusive talent strategy which provides an
overview how London will provide a talent workforce required for
the future. Adult skills is a key part
of the strategy with the emphasis on an employer led approach to
addressing skills gaps.
