RESOLVED:
 
That the motion was CARRIED.
 
 
I. 
To continue to build a new generation of council homes and continue
to buy back properties.
 
 
II. 
To work with the Mayor of London to introduce rent controlled
housing to tackle the cost of living crisis.
 
 
III. 
To write to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and
Local Government to request the Government enable Local Authorities
to introduce rent controls.
 
 
IV. 
To continue to campaign for rent controls, making clear that
Hackney stands with renters and against the failed experiment of an
unregulated private rental market.
