Content

This is an application made by two members of
the public (‘The Applicant’) in 2017 under Section 53
of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, to record a public
footpath between Mint Road and Duckmead Lane, in the parish of
Liss. The application is supported by user and documentary evidence
which in the applicant’s view demonstrates that the
application route should be recorded as a public right of
way.

Having considered the evidence submitted with the application and
additional historic documentary evidence in the context of the
relevant statutory framework, it is considered that the application
route should not be added to the Definitive Map, and that the
application should be refused.
