Decision

That a traffic order be implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA), the effects of which Changes to the layout of existing junctions, the addition of a new junction and the inclusion of a dropped kerb pedestrian crossing point have been approved by Hampshire County Council as a part of the Metis Homes, Warsash Maritime Academy re-development works.

The proposed new parking controls are summarised as follows:
• Extend the existing double yellow lines to cover the new informal pedestrian crossing point.
• Remove double yellow lines from map-based orders, currently positioned across upgraded and newly constructed junctions.

As a part of this scheme, it will be necessary to implement a new Traffic Regulation Order to amend existing parking restrictions in part to prevent the impediment of sight lines and obstruction from potential parked vehicles adjacent to the new crossing point and the restriction tied to this is described as:
