An application was made by a resident of
Andover in 2010 under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside
Act 1981, to record a Footpath from Leicester Place to Suffolk Road
in Andover. The application is supported by user evidence which the
Applicant believes sufficiently demonstrates that a public right of
way should be recorded.
Having considered the supporting evidence provided within the
background report, it is deemed that there is deemed that there are
insufficient grounds to record the route on the Definitive Map as a
public right of way. It is therefore recommended that the
application is refused.
