Decision

Hampshire County Council has received an offer for the dedication of a public footpath on land known as ‘Top Field’. The offer has been made by Winchester City Council, which owns all of the land over which the proposed route runs. The dedication will contribute to the resolution of an application for a Definitive Map Modification Order (‘DMMO’), submitted in 2017 by a member of the public to record public footpath rights over two routes that run roughly parallel to each other, on a slightly different alignment to the proposed dedicated route.
