Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek Cabinet approval of the Climate Change Annual Report 2024-2026, attached at Appendix A. The report provides an overview of progress delivered during the final phase of Hampshire County Council's 2020-2025 Climate Change Strategy and marks the conclusion of reporting against that strategy and its supporting Strategic Framework.

The report also reflects on lessons identified during the review of the previous strategy period and provides a short contextual link to the refreshed Climate Change Strategy, which is presented separately for Cabinet's consideration.
