That a traffic order be implemented under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA), the effects of which will
be to amend “The Hampshire (A326 Marchwood/Rushington)
(With-Flow and Contra-Flow Bus Lane) Order 2024.” So as to
change the wording of schedule I, column 4, from “Local bus,
authorised maintenance vehicles” to “Bus, authorised
maintenance vehicles.” This will resolve an anomaly whereby
school buses which were not local to the Totton area could not
lawfully use the bus lane even though it was designed to do
so.
