Decision

RESOLVED
that a works contract is awarded to T Loughman Ltd.
(company registration number 01849737) in the sum of
£212,799.54 for the delivery of works to construct new
parking spaces at Nexus on the Harlow Innovation Park.

Reasons for the decision

To support the delivery of the Council’s corporate
mission to ‘Transform our Council’ and
“Successfully deliver the largest ever Non-Housing Capital
Programme”.
 
To enable the Council to enter a formal contract for the
construction of new parking spaces at the
Harlow Innovation Park in accordance with Contract Standing
Orders.
 
To ensure that sufficient parking provision is available at
Nexus to support new lettings of existing vacant employment
space.

Alternative options considered

There aren’t considered to be any viable
alternatives ahead of constructing new parking spaces.
