RESOLVED that the schedule of changes to the Constitution, attached as Appendix A to the report, be approved. 

Reasons for the decision

To reflect the changes to the council’s management structure.

To ensure that functions previously carried out by the Managing Director, are now carried out by another appropriate Officer.

Alternative options considered

No other options have been considered. These changes reflect the change in management structure, and not making them would result in weaknesses within the council’s governance arrangements.
