Council Appointments Committee

Council Appointments Committee is responsible for appointing elected members to represent the council on a variety of statutory bodies, charities and voluntary organisations operating in the town.   Council Appointments Committee meets once a year. Extra meetings may be held at other times, if required. The meetings are usually held in the Council Chamber, Muriel Matters House and are generally open for the public to attend.  Paper copies of the agenda for Council Appointments Committee meetings are available on request from Democratic Services
