Overview and Scrutiny Committee monitors’ performance against the targets set out in the council’s corporate plan. The committee also identifies potential areas for improvement and explores options to develop council services. Members also undertake reviews which look at issues of local importance. Overview and Scrutiny Committee meet every three months. The meetings are usually held in the Council Chamber, Muriel Matters House and are generally open for the public to attend.
