Decision

1. That cabinet
delegate authority to the Director of Place or her nominee, in
consultation with the lead Councillor for Ageing Well to:

a) Sign a Partnership agreement with Public Health, (East Sussex
County Council), for the sum of £150,000 across 3 financial
years - £50,000 per annum.

b) Recruit a suitably qualified officer to aid the development and
implementation of a Healthy Ageing strategy and work towards the
embedding of healthy ageing practices.

c) To enter into a service level agreement (SLA) with Hastings
Voluntary Action (HVA) to support the strategic management and
direction setting for the recruited officer, and the wider work of
the programme.
