Purpose

A draft new statement of community involvement (SCI) has been prepared. The SCI sets out the Council’s approach to consulting the local community and other stakeholders on planning matters within the local planning authority boundary.

Decision

That Cabinet recommends to Full Council that the Statement of Community Involvement is adopted, incorporating where relevant, comments arising from public consultation, including incorporating any comments received after Cabinet, up to and including the 10 September, being the closing date for consultation.
