Decision

We have
carefully considered the application for Review from Trading
Standards, the representations made by other Relevant Authorities
and the Respondent’s evidence given at the meeting. Our
decision takes into consideration the Council’s Statement of
Licensing Policy, the Public Sector Equality Duty, the Home Office
Guidance issued under section 182 of the Licensing Act 2003 (s182
Guidance), the duties under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, and
the rights set out in the Human Rights Act 1998.
Our
decision is to:-

modify the conditions of the
licence

o  
as per the recommendations of Trading Standards,
see pages 41 and 42 of the Agenda Pack, and

o  
add two additional conditions:-

§ 
no sale of spirits in bottles smaller than
75cl

§ 
no sale of beer and cider over
6.5%

-        
suspend the licence for 6 weeks to bring these
conditions into effect, to commence after the appeal window of 21
days
