Purpose

To provide an update following the Joint Waste and Recycling Committee July meeting

Decision

(a) Consider and accept the commercial terms proposed for the Extension Agreement (included in the associated part 2).

(b) Consider at Full Council with the recommendation for Hastings Borough Council to accept the commercial terms and execute the Extension Agreement.

(c) Authorise the Joint Waste Partnership (JWP) Lead Director, in consultation with each partner authority’s Supervising Officer, S151 Officer and Portfolio Holder, to finalise outstanding minor operational and technical matters relating to the Extension Agreement.
