About

The Marches Joint Committee is responsible for managing the transition of responsibilities and funds from the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) to the three partner councils. It will oversee the allocation of remaining revenue and capital, ensuring alignment with government guidance and the LEP's economic plan. The committee will monitor ongoing grants and initiatives until their conclusion or transfer, and influence public investment to promote economic growth across the Marches area. It also provides annual reports to the partner councils and can agree lead body status for specific issues.
