Standards Panel

The Standards Panel considers complaints about breaches of the code of conduct for Herefordshire councillors when the monitoring officer cannot resolve the issue. It reviews submissions from complainants, councillors, and the monitoring officer, then produces a report for the Audit and Governance Committee or a parish council. The panel includes an independent person, the chair of the Audit and Governance Committee, two other members of that committee, and a nominated parish councillor.
