The Wye Catchment Nutrient Management Board acts as a forum for stakeholders to influence, advise, and challenge decisions impacting the River Wye catchment. It does not have formal powers or the ability to make decisions, which remain with statutory organisations. The Board's role is to influence actions affecting the catchment, advise decision-makers on their plans, and challenge their proposals. It collaborates with various groups and communicates its views on the Statutory Officers’ Group's plans and progress to stakeholders.
