Decision

To direct award a contract to Overbury PLC for
pre-construction services through a JCT Pre-Construction Services
Agreement (PCSA) up to the end of RIBA Stage 4 for the construction
works associated with the expansion of Aylestone School.

The appointment is made as a direct award using Procure Partnership
Framework – West Midlands, £5-15m construction
partners.

The appointment to be based on a cost of £568,797.57 plus
associated contingency, surveys, statutory and professional
fees.

To approve the expenditure of up to £825,675.57 which
includes:

Pre Construction Services (PCSA) - £568,797.57
Contingency - £56,878 (10%)
Internal Fees & Charges - £200,000, which will be
recharged through
staff timesheets.

Responsibility for monitoring the project to be carried out by the
Capital Senior Project Manager within the spend budget.
