Decision

1. Lidl will be developing a parcel of land
that neighbors the property where the works are required.
2. Lidl are required to carry out highway improvement works on the
A465 as part of their planning consent.
3. Herefordshire Council have some separately funded “Quiet
Streets” works in the same vicinity which we’ve agreed
that Lidl will carry out on our behalf in addition to their
consented works. These consist of a Toucan Crossing on the A465 and
a new section of shared use path on land that owned by
Herefordshire Council as Public Open Space.
4. The “Quiet Streets” works will be completed as part
of the Lidl development and will be paid for by Herefordshire
Council.
