Decision

For the Quiet Routes works to be included in
the works to be carried out under the Section 278 Agreement with
Lidl to accommodate their new store, and for Herefordshire Council
to pay Lidl the contribution of £48,333.45 to cover the Quiet
Routes elements. The attached plan highlights the Quiet Route works
that are over and above the consented Lidl highway accommodation
works.

To bring forward the implementation of this element of Quiet Routes
works by combining with Lidl’s highway works to deliver
better value for money due to economy of scale, and reduction in
impact on road users by delivering both schemes in one roadspace
booking
