Purpose

The 7 October 2021 Cabinet Member decision
identified the shop front grants as an important project.
This is within the agreed budget of £500,000 for the shop
front scheme as agreed with the LEP.
This project is funded as part of the Hereford City Centre
Improvements
The HCCI decision of 07 October 2021 identified that the grants
should be delivered within the overall programme budget.
Hereford City Centre Improvements are designed to support the local
economy and enhance the retail environment. The refurbishment
scheme is contributing to the delivery of the Herefordshire
Streetscape Strategy to create an attractive, vibrant city centre
to help support existing businesses and create new opportunities to
encourage more visitors and retailers
