Purpose

The Safer Communities Fund Grant Scheme is a
discretionary grant scheme, developed in collaboration with West
Mercia Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner for West
Mercia.
The decision has been made to award grants to the following
organisations:
•CLD Trust – Grant award of up to
£127,855.25
•St Martins Primary School – Grant award of up to
£60,000
•Haygrove Community Gardens Charity – Grant award of up
to £30,965.46
•Hope Support Services – Grant award of up to
£63,855
In making grant offers to the organisations listed above the Safer
Communities Grant Scheme will be supporting new and existing
projects that focus on early prevention, tackling the root causes
of crime, vulnerability, exploitation and anti-social behaviour
within the county, specifically focusing on children and young
people.
