Purpose

The contract extension will enable the
Community Commissioning Team and Independent Living Service Team to
investigate and evaluate a number of options, including:

• Separating the telecare element from the existing Integrated
Community Equipment Service (ICES) contract, which also ends on 31
March 2025, and amalgamating it into one dedicated Technology
Enabled Care (TEC) contract.

• Incorporating any newly evaluated technology enabled care
programmes.

• Alternative lone worker solutions can be considered for the
out of hours AMHP (Approved Mental Health Professionals)
Team.
