Purpose

Broadlands childrens centre is owned by the
Council and is currently occupied under a Licence to Occupy by
Brookfield School Ltd to deliver education from the property to
children at risk of permanent exclusion from their mainstream
schools .
Brookfield School are being taken over by MET who wish to continue
to deliver the service being delivered from the premises.
There is a growing need for SEN places in the county and pressure
on existing SEN places.
The work being carried out in the property is directed at helping
children who are at risk of exclusion to remain in and benefit from
mainstream education and thus reduce pressure on SEN places
The licence will be on the basis that MET continue to pay all
costs/outgoings in respect of the property including mains
services, repairs and maintenance , business rates
