Purpose

Herefordshire Council have been successful in
being awarded £85k of grant funding from the Midland Net Zero
Hub to add e-Cargo bikes to the current Hereford City public bike
share scheme.
The current Hereford City public bike share contract was
re-tendered in 2021 and awarded to Beryl on a 5+2+2 year basis,
commencing in April 2022. The four e-Cargo bikes will added to the
current 200 pedal bikes and 74 electric assist bike fleet.
