Purpose

The existing foul drainage soil and vent pipe
is defective leaking foul water and is a health and safety hazard
to the residential tenants of the property. It is proposed to
replace the defective drainage with new modern equivalent drainage
soil and vent pipe.
There is a tender on the portal for improvement works to nr 1
Monkton Farmhouse, this element of works is included within this
tender, but due to the health and safety issues and potential loss
of amenity for the tenants this work has to be accelerated. These
works are to be omitted from the tender when awarded to the
successful bidder.
A quotation was sought from S C Joseph Ltd who were recently
successful in the tender process to provide reactive groundworks
for the Council through Hoople and have therefore demonstrated best
value.
The provision of drainage and groundwork improvement works at Nr 1
Monkton Farmhouse, Ocle Pychard, Hereford to be Awarded to S C
Joseph Ltd at a cost of £1933.00.
