Purpose

To approve amendments to the Housing
Allocations Scheme for Herefordshire, following a review of the
policy. The policy clarifies the roles and responsibilities of the
local authority and the Registered Providers for delivering the
local authority’s statutory duties in relation to the
allocation of housing, including the arrangements for applying to
register for social, intermediate and affordable rented housing and
the process by which it is let in Herefordshire.

Decision

That:

a)   
Band E be removed from the Housing Allocation
Scheme;

b)   
The revised Housing Allocation Scheme set out at
Appendix 2 be approved and implemented upon approval; and

c)   
Any minor amendments to the scheme necessary to enable
implementation are delegated to the Corporate Director - Community
Wellbeing.
