Decision

To appropriate the turning head and cycleway
at Chapel Road in Rotherwas (as shown coloured pink on the attached
drawing) from private land owned by Herefordshire Council to public
adopted highway land, following improvements carried out by
Hereford Enterprise Zone to bring the route up to an adoptable
standard.

To recognise the existing public use of Chapel Road and adjacent
cycleway. The route is an asset to the highway providing a key
active travel link in Rotherwas. The remaining open verge area
beside the cycleway will continue to be managed and maintained by
the Hereford Enterprise Zone.
