Purpose

This report seeks approval of the
council’s Public Realm Services model for market
engagement.

Decision

That:

a)   
Cabinet adopt the Public Realm Services model set out in Appendix 1
for the purposes of market engagement

b)   
Cabinet delegates authority to the Corporate Director Economy and
Environment to carry out market engagement on the Public Realm
Services model set out in Appendix 1.
 

Alternative options considered

1. To vary the current contract. This is not
an option as the variations required to the contract to meet the
council’s vision for the new public realm services are not
permissible under the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
