Licensing Sub-Committee

Sub-Committee panels of three Members, all drawn from the membership of the Licensing Committee, make decisions on individual licensing matters including:

 

1.         Applications for a Premises Licence, where representations have been received from an interested party and/or responsible authority;

2.         Applications for a Variation of a Premises Licence, where representations have been received from an interested party and/or responsible authority;

3.         Applications for a Review of a Premises Licence;

4.         Applications for a Temporary Event Notice, where the Police have made representations;

5.         Applications for a Personal Licence, where the Police have objected; and

6.         Appeals against refusal to grant a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver Licence.

 

Members of the public who have submitted written representations in respect of 1, 2 and 3 above are permitted to speak at the hearing, subject to certain rules regarding the length of time permitted.
