About

The Licensing Sub-Committee, composed of three members from the main Licensing Committee, makes decisions on specific licensing applications. This includes premises licences and variations where objections have been raised, reviews of premises licences, and temporary event notices or personal licence applications where the police have objected. The sub-committee also considers appeals against the refusal of Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver Licences. Members of the public who have made representations can speak at hearings.
