RECOMMENDATION

1. 1             That the Personnel Committee approve the removal of the First Day No Pay Arrangement from the Council’s Sickness Absence Management Policy with effect from 1 April 2026.
2. 2             Approve proposed change to the Sickness Absence Management Policy as set out in Appendix 1.
3. 3             Approve the communication of the associated legislative and policy changes to all employees and managers.
