RESOLVED That Cabinet:

1. 1)           approved a business celebration evening to celebrate the success of Hertsmere’s businesses over the past year.
2. 2)           That subject to 1.1 above, Cabinet approved that funding of £6,500 be met from the 2026/27 contingency budget. 

Reasons for decision

To approve a celebration evening to celebrate the success of Hertsmere businesses and to highlight the contribution the business community make to the borough and agree the funding for the event.

Alternative Options Considered

The Cabinet could have decided not to approve the budget and forego the Hertsmere Business Celebration Evening.
