To authorise a three-year extension to the
existing Environmental Health and Licensing and Building Control
Systems contract to the supplier named in and at the cost reflected
in the exempt appendix.
 
To delegate authority to the Director of
Resources in consultation with the Head of Legal & Democratic
Services to finalise the terms of and enter into the required
extension of the contract.

Reasons for the decision

To ensure continuity in the provision of
service for IT Systems for Environmental Health and Licensing and
Building Control given the existing contract is due to expire on 21
December 2025.

Alternative options considered

Other suppliers were discounted because after
researching the market the current supplier and solution offered
the best value.
 
Not continuing the service was discounted
because this would frustrate the provision of services.
