To approve the direct award of
a contract for the provision and maintenance of multi-functional
devices (‘the contract’) for a term of 5 years
(extendable by 12 months) to the supplier identified and at the
cost outlined in the exempt appendix. 
 
To finalise the terms and
conditions of and enter into the contract in consultation with the
Head of Legal and Democratic Services.
 

Reasons for the decision

The existing contract is coming to an
end and the Council requires use of
multi-functional devices for its offices.
 

Alternative options considered

Two other suppliers were
reviewed as part of the procurement process. These were rejected
based on cost and quality.
